1. Introduction
MAF Loans LLC ("Company," "we," "us," or "our") is committed to conducting our marketing activities in a fair, transparent, and compliant manner. This Marketing Practices document describes how we communicate with consumers, our advertising standards, and your choices regarding marketing communications. We adhere to applicable federal and state laws, including the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA), the CAN-SPAM Act, the Controlling the Assault of Non-Solicited Pornography And Marketing (CAN-SPAM) Act, and state telemarketing and email marketing regulations.

We may communicate with you through the following channels:
- Email: We may send you transactional emails (e.g., application confirmations, account updates) and, with your consent, marketing emails about our services and loan products.
- Telephone: We may contact you by phone regarding your application or account. We will not place telemarketing calls to you without your prior express written consent.
- SMS/Text Messages: We may send you text messages if you have opted in to receive them. Message and data rates may apply.
- Direct Mail: We may send you postal mail regarding our services.
- Online Advertising: We may use online advertising, including display ads, search ads, and social media advertising, to reach potential customers.
3. Consent and Opt-In
We obtain your consent before sending marketing communications where required by law. When you submit a loan application or create an account, you may be presented with the option to receive marketing communications. We will not add you to marketing lists without your affirmative consent. Consent may be obtained through checkboxes, verbal agreement, or other clear affirmative action.
4. Opt-Out and Unsubscribe
You may opt out of marketing communications at any time:
- Email: Every marketing email we send includes an unsubscribe link. You may also unsubscribe by visiting our unsubscribe page or contacting us at [email protected].
- Telephone: To opt out of telemarketing calls, contact us at [email protected] or +1 (573) 859-4395, or add your number to the National Do Not Call Registry.
- SMS: Reply STOP to any text message to opt out. You may also contact us to opt out.
We will process opt-out requests promptly, typically within 10 business days. Please note that you may still receive transactional communications (e.g., account-related notices) even after opting out of marketing.
5. TCPA Compliance
We comply with the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA) and related regulations. We do not:
- Place autodialed or prerecorded calls to wireless numbers without prior express written consent
- Send marketing text messages without prior express written consent
- Call numbers on the National Do Not Call Registry for telemarketing purposes (unless you have given us permission to do so)
By providing your telephone number and consenting to receive communications, you agree that we may contact you at that number using automated technology, including autodialers and prerecorded messages.
6. CAN-SPAM Compliance
Our email marketing practices comply with the CAN-SPAM Act. We:
- Do not use false or misleading header information
- Do not use deceptive subject lines
- Identify messages as advertisements where required
- Include our physical mailing address in commercial emails
- Honor opt-out requests within 10 business days
- Do not sell or transfer email addresses of persons who have opted out
7. Advertising Standards
We strive to ensure that our advertising is:
- Accurate: We do not make false or misleading claims about our services, loan terms, or eligibility.
- Transparent: We clearly identify ourselves as a loan matching platform, not a lender, and disclose material terms where appropriate.
- Fair: We do not use deceptive tactics, pressure tactics, or unfair practices to induce consumers to apply.
- Compliant: We follow applicable advertising regulations, including those of the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB) and Federal Trade Commission (FTC).
8. Third-Party Marketing
We may work with third-party marketing partners, including affiliates and advertising networks. When we share your information with such partners for marketing purposes, we do so in accordance with our Privacy Policy. You may opt out of such sharing through our Do Not Sell page.
9. Do Not Call and Do Not Contact
If you have registered your telephone number on the National Do Not Call Registry, we will not contact you for telemarketing purposes unless you have given us express permission.
